Advanced Technology Devices

tnc-bioness-logoBioness Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) systems that facilitate muscle contraction are implemented into the continuum of care.

The inpatient and outpatient medical rehabilitation programs utilize Bioness systems including NESS H200 Hand Rehabilitation System,  NESS L300 Foot Drop System and NESS L300 Plus System.  The devices address hand paralysis, foot drop, and thigh weakness.

Benefits of the Bioness System may include neuromuscular re-education, reduction of muscle spasm, maintenance/ increase of joint range of motion and increase in local Blood circulation.

 Bioness Screenings

Screening are provided to assess the appropriateness of the Bioness System. Free screenings will be available on the fourth Monday of each month from 9am – 1pm. Call 855-246-6375 to schedule a screening; you will be communicating directly with Bioness.

tnc-saebo-logoSaebo’s Functional Dynamic Neurological Orthoses are offered to individuals who meet the appropriate criteria.  The Saebo devices provide innovative rehabilitation for individuals suffering from neurological injuries.  Saebo’s revolutionary products allow patients with very little residual arm and hand function to immediately begin performing highly repetitive grasp and release activities.

tnc-walkaide-logoWalkAide is a revolutionary FDA approved medical device that leverages functional electrical stimulation (FES) to improve walking ability of people living with foot drop. WalkAide is a neuroprosthetics device that channels electrical stimulation to the leg and foot in order to restore typical nerve-to-muscle signals, effectively lifting the foot at the appropriate time.

Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT), an innovative and clinically-proven method for improving voice and speech in individuals with Parkinson disease.

Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) is the application of electrical stimuli to a group of muscles for the purpose of rehabilitation. Combining NMES and traditional therapy allows accelerated strengthening, restoration of function, and helps brain remap the swallow. Research demonstrates that combining therapies result in better outcomes

InView is designed for observation of eye movements during vestibular rehabilitation examination as well as treatment.  It allows the patient to be evaluated and treated with up to date technology insuring the best patient care.  The recorded video can be played back and used to benefit the clinician for close up evaluation, patient education, medical-legal reason, or scientific research.
